VAARA invests in X-ray measurement technology
VAARA is taking the next step in the development of its production by investing in MiCROTEC’s advanced Logeye measurement system, which is equipped with X-ray technology. This state-of-the-art measurement solution further enhances the utilization of wood raw material, ensuring efficient production and high-quality end products.
The new system will be installed at VAARA’s wood products factory in late summer 2025, making it the northernmost and the second X-ray-equipped Logeye device in Finland.

Vaara specializes in high-quality, pre-painted VAARA Nordic™ exterior cladding products and CLT log blanks. One of the company’s most innovative products, VAARA Stabil™, is a non-settling CLT log that offers excellent energy efficiency and flexibility for modern timber construction.
